Hollywood is home to some of the biggest names in the world, but for some of these stars, no name is greater than Jesus Christ. It's common for celebrities to give a quick mention of God during thank you speeches at awardings and interviews, but it's another to live a life that shows their faith.

Here are a few celebrities who you probably didn't know are Christian.

The famous movie star from "Grown Ups" and "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" is not very public about it, but he is a strong and devout Catholic and puts his faith on Christ. "My faith helps me in everything, it shapes me and I always try to glorify Him in movies," said James in an interview with The Christian Post.

2. Chuck Norris

Yes, THE Chuck Norris. The man who has been the subject of impossible feats believes that he serves a God of the impossible. In his book "Against All Odds: My Story," Norris gives God all the credit for his rise to stardom from a life of poverty and hardships. The action star also believes in and supports the distribution of Bibles in public schools.

In the singer and songwriter's Jubilee debt campaign diary for Dazed and Confused, in 1999, he said, "Christians are hard to tolerate, I don't know how Jesus does it...I'm one of them." Bono is one of today's icons that actively participates in social issues on justice and world peace and his faith in God fuels his fight for change.

The American actor, voice actor, singer, and songwriter is not very vocal about it, but he considers himself to be a born-again Christian and has on occasion sported apparel and accessories with Christian messages. McCartney has produced albums such as "Beautiful Soul," "Right Where You Want Me" and "In Technicolor." He has also had an extensive role in voice acting for films and video games.
