The season 10 finale episode of Grey's Anatomy is nearing, and the show's veteran castmember Sandra Oh, who plays Dr. Cristina Yang, is preparing for her exit.

The farewell episodes to Cristina Yang continue with this week's episode, "Everything I Try To Do, Nothing Seems to Turn Out Right."

After ten seasons on the show, Oh, who started as one of the ABC show's original four castmembers, will be saying farewell after filming her final scene for the medical drama on April 24.

Last week's episode saw CristinaYang seriously reconsidering her future after losing out on the Harper-Avery award. Cristina was invited to speak at an event in Zurich, when her ex Dr. Preston Burke (Isaiah Washington), turns up at the event. She later finds out that it was his idea to have her speak. He invites her to perform a surgery with him, and later asks her to help run his hospital – which she initially refused.

Fans found out that old flames Cristina and Preston did not get back together, as Preston revealed that he is happily married with two children, but admitted that working with Cristina again might ruin his marriage. Preston wants to hand the hospital over to Cristina so he can move to Milan with his family.

The official synopsis for Grey's Anatomy season 10 episode 23, titled "Everything I Try To Do, Nothing Seems to Turn Out Right" is as follows: "With Derek away, Meredith spends time with Amelia and finds out her true feelings about her time in Seattle. Bailey (Chandra Wilson) deals with the ramifications of her actions, and Callie (Sara Ramirez) receives devastating news. Meanwhile, the residents panic after hearing that one of them will be fired."

Episode 23 will be airing Thursday, May 8, at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.

After this week's episode, Sandra Oh's finale episode will be airing on May 15, 2014.
