As stated in a report from the IBTimes, Brock Lesnar was rumored to fight his long-standing rival Bray Wyatt at WWE Wrestlemania 32 but this did not come to pass. Lesnar instead fough against Luke Harper, with no sign of Wyatt during the event. However, it is reported that Lesnar and Wyatt may finally face each other in this year's SummerSlam.

According to the report, Lesnar has been absent from television for a long time and is only being brought out for big matches. Given the popularity of SummerSlam it is possible that the WWE will plan a big event for Lesnar and this could indicate that he will be finishing the feud with Wyatt.

In a report from Cage Side Seats, Lesnar is indeed scheduled to make an appearance at SummerSlam but his opponent has yet to be named. While Wyatt is a strong possibility given their long-running feud is popular among fans there is still the chance that Lesnar will be fighting someone else entirely.

The report also points out that when Wyatt does return he will be an appointed heel, which is a term used in wrestling for an antagonist. If this proves true then Wyatt will be marketed as the "bad guy" while Brock Lesnar will be promoted as the feud's good guy, the person the rest of the crowd can get behind and cheer for.

However, the only issue is that Wyatt is still suffering from a calf injury he sustained in April. Brock Lesnar's brute strength and physicality may pose as a medical hindrance and the fight may be postponed even further to allow Wyatt to recover, ensuring that when they do face each other they will be both at their physical primes.

This year's WWE SummerSlam will take place on Sunday, Aug. 21 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
