It might take a while for Danielle Panabaker's Killer Frost to revert back into the kind-hearted Team Flash ally Caitlin Snow.

When the necklace that had been suppressing her metahuman abilities was removed by Julian (Tom Felton) in order to save her life, she transformed into the ice-powered metahuman Killer Frost, who is the complete opposite of what Caitlin was. It was also prophesied earlier this season that Killer Frost and Vibe (Carlos Valdes), also known as Cisco, will have a showdown, and in last week's episode, it was teased that Vibe lost the battle and his arms, preventing him from exercising his superpowers.

Last week's episode also saw Killer Frost siding with this season's big bad, Savitar, which means Team Flash will have more problems to face as the season heads toward the finale. As to why she was so quick to align herself with the so-called speed god when he revealed his identity to her, Panabaker told Variety that "it's someone not foreign to her, so she has loyalty to this person very quickly."

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Panabaker revealed that her villainous character, Killer Frost, will not only be playing a big part in the season 3 finale but might also continue being a problem for Team Flash in the next season.

"It's going to be great. Obviously I am involved a little bit more in the finale this time than I have been in years past," she said, and added that the viewers will see a "bigger, better battle" in the finale since there are more speedsters and more characters with powers now.

Panabaker also confessed that she is having fun playing the role of a villain this time and hopes that the Killer Frost storyline will last a little bit longer. "For me personally as an actor, it's been fun to play Killer Frost and I hope that it lasts a little while and we don't necessarily tie it up in a bow right away," she said. "I'm enjoying getting to play her."

The show's executive producer Andrew Kreisberg confirmed that Panabaker is not going anywhere soon as she will be back for the fourth season. "How and if she becomes Caitlin Snow again, or she remains Killer Frost or a version of Killer Frost, into season 4, you're going to have to tune in," he said.

With Killer Frost's knowledge of how Team Flash works, as well as the members' weaknesses, they could be having a hard time getting their friend back.

The current season of "The Flash" airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
