Game company Capcom is currently preparing "Street Fighter 5" for PC. Speaking to Event Hubs, Capcom Senior Product Manager Matt Dahlgren revealed that they are making certain of one thing: that it will be on par with its much-awaited PS4 version. 

"We have to have parity between the PC and PlayStation 4 version, for cross platform play to work, so they will be coming out simultaneously and developed by the same dev team," he said in answer to the question of who is taking care of the PC version. 

In the interview, Dahlgren stressed that there won't be an arcade release for "Street Fighter 5." He also promised that Capcom will soon provide info about the changes in the player and battle point systems. Moreover, he revealed that the ranked modes will be global in a bid to "[unite] the community." 

Dahlgren admitted that making "Street Fighter 5" is no easy feat but they find consolation knowing that fans have their back.

"There are going to be bumps along the road, but we're all in this together, and we want to forge the future of fighting games, so we'd really appreciate your support," he said. 

In other related news, Capcom is now accepting beta sign-ups for PS4. Those in the U.S. simply need to pre-order the game from GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy or PlayStation Network to secure access.  Players in Europe can register with their EU PSN account before July 7 and those who are chosen will receive the beta key by July 23. The closed beta for these regions will take place from July 23 to 28. 

Gamers who live in Asia must download the "Street Fighter 5" Closed Beta Test Ticket, which is only available to PS Plus subscribers, from the PSN Store from July 9 to 14. The testing is scheduled July 24 to 29. 

As for PC gamers, they can simply pre-order "Street Fighter 5" on Steam starting this fall to get a spot.

"Street Fighter 5" will be released next year.
