Moto X+1 features leaked by Brazilian store: 2.3GHz processor, 12MP camera and massive battery

A Brazilian online store allegedly leaked the specs and features of the upcoming Moto X+1.

A new leak has surfaced that revealed that Moto X+1 will have very fine specs and features. According to Motoring Crunch, the Brazilian online store is constructing a promo page for the upcoming Motorola handset and it accidentally revealed the details ahead of the release date.

According to the post, Moto X+1 has a 5.2 inches screen display with Full HD 1,080 x 1,920 pixel resolution. The handset will also pack 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, microSD support, 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera, and 2,900 mAh battery capacity.

The newly revealed specs are different from previous rumors. The handset will most likely run with the latest Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS but will be later upgraded to Android L.

Latest reports claimed that Moto X+1 release date is pegged for late summer that probably explains why the Brazilian online store is already setting up the promo page for the device. The handset will be launched alongside Motorola's smartwatch, Moto 360.

Motorola already announced that its smartwatch will be unveiled this summer. "Moto 360 sets itself apart with a design that reimagines time for the modern era - a distinctive round display, carefully chosen materials, and fine craftsmanship all while keeping you on track and up to date without taking you out of the moment," Motorola announced in a blog post last week.

Moto 360 is the first smartwatch to sport a round face design, which is claimed to be one of the best design among Android devices so far. Competitors recently launched the LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live smartwatches both boast a rectangular design.

Moto X+1 release date is speculated to be in August or in September. If so, Moto X+1 have to face-off other smartphones from its competitors, including the iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Not to mention handsets from HTC and Sony that was rumored to appear later this year.
