Microsoft's Lumia 950 and 950 XL phones are now expected to arrive in stores this September.

Both of the phones were initially revealed during Microsoft's big event held last Oct. 6, but as of now, there is no specific date that has been attached to either release, according to PC Advisor UK.

The wait for both the Lumia 950 and 950 XL does not figure to be that long, however, as Microsoft has already made both devices available for pre-order.

Fortunately, even though the exact date for when the new phones might hit stores is still unknown, at the very least, people can know all about what specs and features the devices will offer.

Starting off with their processors, the Lumia 950 will reportedly feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 808 chipset that will then be paired up with 3 GB of RAM. As for the 950 XL, it will be sporting the Snapdragon 810 chipset, and will also feature the same amount of RAM, according to Digital Trends.

Moving on to the internal storage capacities of the two phones, both the Lumia 950 and the 950 XL will be offering 32 GB of available space to users, and if that's not enough, people can expand it all the way up to 200 GB by using a microSD card.

Both phones will offer 20-megapixel primary cameras and five-megapixel shooters up front.

As the name suggests, the Lumia 950 XL is the larger of the two phones, with a display size coming in at 5.7 inches and it is also protected by Gorilla Glass 4. The Lumia 950 is a bit smaller at 5.2 inches and will also feature Gorilla Glass 3 instead of the same one used for the XL.

The Lumia 950 XL is actually the thinner of the two phones, although it is also the heavier one.

Of course, one of the biggest draws of both the Lumia 950 and 950 XL is that they will be featuring the Windows 10 mobile operating system.
