The script for the Superman vs Batman sequel, aka Man of Steel 2, has been completed, but the casting rumors continue on who will play the villains and other superheroes in the highly anticipated star-studded film.

Rumors are swirling that 44-year-old actor Josh Holloway may be cast as Aquaman.

We already know that Wonder Woman, confirmed to be played by Gal Gadot, will be making an appearance on the film, along with the highly publicized role of Batman by Ben Affleck. Other superhero roles such as Nightwing and Green Lantern are also rumored to be part of the film, but the roles have yet to be confirmed.

Former pro-wrestler "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson is also set to work on the upcoming Justice League movie after production of Man of Steel 2 is complete. He recently tweeted: "We just had a big meeting w/ Warner Bros CEO re: @DCComics 2014 we will partner up and create the cool bad assery. #RockTalk @ActionTilson." WIll Johnson be starring as the Green Lantern?

The filming of the first ever Superman vs Batman film will take place in Michigan starting next month and is expected to cost $131million.

Man of Steel's Henry Cavill will return as Superman/Clark Kent and Ben Affleck will play a starring role as Batman/Bruce Wayne. Amy Adams will reprise her role as Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, and Laurence Fishburne as the Daily Planet's Editor-in-Chief Perry White.

The movie will be directed by Zack Snyder and has been scripted by David S. Goyer. The cast and crew will be hard at work to complete production before the movie's release on July 17, 2015.
