God's love is truly so astounding that it has the ability to transform the lives of anybody.

When former porn star Brittni Ruiz, more popularly known as Jenna Presley first met God, her life was weighed down by sex, drugs, suicide, and an eating disorder. She felt hopeless and lost, but once she decided to dedicate her heart to Jesus, her world turned upside down - but for the better.

When she was only 18 years old, Ruiz entered the world of pornography. She has starred in at least 300 pornographic movies and scenes from 2005 to 2012, and even gained recognition from the Adult Video News Awards and won a Night Movies Award.

But despite her career success, Ruiz was simply unhappy. She struggled with low self-esteem and she suffered from an eating disorder. As a child, she says she did not receive much love and affection from her mother, so she masked her insecurities and loneliness by controlling her weight, taking drugs, and diving into work.

She told Breathecast that losing weight was her way of getting her mother's approval. "It was a terrible time in my life...if you were skinnier your mom would love you," she thought.

But when her mother read her diary and discovered her anorexia, she was sent to a mental institution because they could not afford better care. She went on a few outpatient groups after that, but nothing worked to improve her condition.

Her only saving grace was God and it was because of His love that Ruiz managed to get her life in order. She conquered anorexia and no longer deals with insecurities because God has filled her emptiness with His love.

"I truly believe that I've been set free. I don't deal with anorexia anymore; I don't deal with drug addiction or alcohol anymore. I don't even have the desire anymore for those things. If you truly believe in God, He is going to set you free," she said.
