'Final Fantasy XV' release date delayed as lead programmer leaves Square Enix

As anticipation for the release of "Final Fantasy XV" rises, this news will certainly disappoint a lot of fans who have been waiting for news about the game. It looks like the release date for "Final Fantasy XV" will be further delayed.

Lead Programmer of the game Kentaro Yasui resigned and left Square Enix, according to a report from Nova Crystallis. Yasui will be focusing on developing a game called "Chaos Centurions" for another company.

Yasui's resignation will definitely push back the release date of the game, given that the developer has kept everyone in the dark about that too. This news is very discouraging as fans of the game's franchise have been eagerly anticipating the release of the game, let alone any good news about it.

At E3, everyone was waiting for an update about "Final Fantasy XV," but all that Square Enix could give was a statement that they will reveal further information when the time is right. They failed to show a teaser at E3 2014. Instead, the company decided to focus their attention on their other games like "Kingdom Hearts 3," which is also taking a while to be released.

Square Enix decided to launch the game on Xbox One and PS4 because they are trying to break through Japan. The PS4 and Xbox One don't appeal much to the Japanese, which is why releasing games like "Final Fantasy XV" and "Kingdom Hearts 3" should gain their interest.

Square Enix has not commented about the resignation of Yasui and on top of that, they are keeping mum about the game too. At this point, everyone can just wait and hope that Square Enix is developing the best "Final Fantasy" game yet, so the long wait can be worth it.
