'Dragon Age: Inquisition': Mods and multiplayer DLC to look forward to in the new game

"Dragon Age" fans have something awesome to look forward to in the coming year, as developer BioWare announced that the third installment of its hit action-packed role player game will become moddable soon. The news about "Dragon Age: Inquisition" mods was confirmed by an article posted by Nexus Mods, a famous modding network.

Based on the post, BioWare is planning to come up with a toolkit similar to "Skyrim's" Creating Kit that allows players to make and share contents with other gamers with a click of a button. However, the update about the mod for "Dragon Age: Inquisition" is still unfavorable since the tools are still incomplete, and they can only support exporting and viewing assets. Importing the game is still unsupported at this time.

Aside from modding, Bioware also announced that the game will have a free multiplayer DLC for all platforms.

According to BioWare's official website, "Destruction adds new paths to existing destinations. The conflicts raging throughout the world have upset the balance of nature. Wild creatures now roam the battlefield, introducing chaos as they attack both friend and foe."

Although this DLC is offered for free, BioWare is also offering a Deluxe Upgrade for just $9.99. It will include added bonus contents such as the Skyhold Throne, Bog Unicorn, Red Hard Halla, the official digital soundtrack of the game, as well as the special edition "Dragon Age Multiplayer Deluxe Edition" chests. The DLC pack also includes other additional contents such as the new Armoured Mount, the Inquisitor Armor as well as the Multi-class weapons which will be used in the new gameplay.

In other news, the weekend multiplayer event that was earlier scheduled has been moved to a different time because of the connectivity issues that plagued Xbox Live and Playstation Network. The news was confirmed by BioWare Edmonton Associate Producer Billy Buskell on Twitter, saying that the company is planning to have a another event to give other players a second chance. The said event will probably be set sometime in 2015.
