More and more names are being tagged to "Dancing with the Stars" season 22. Kirstie Alley, who joined the show twice in the past, says that her "Cheers" co-star Rhea Perlman will be a wonderful entrant for the new season considering she is a dancer.

While Alley, who joined and ended in second place in season 12 and seventh in "Dancing with the Stars: All Stars," intensely nominates Perlman as a contestant, she knows that joining the competition will take more than just the dancing skills.

"You have to take a big leap of faith before you do 'Dancing with the Stars.' You know, it's hard work and you know you're putting yourself out there," Alley explained to Wetpaint, adding that it is a battle of at least staying in the competition beyond the first week.

Apart from Perlman's possible stint on the show, rumor mills are also suggesting that Taryn Manning will also be a contestant in "Dancing with the Stars" season 22. Known for her role on the Netflix hit "Orange Is the New Black," the actress hinted the possibility on Twitter.

Manning posted a cryptic tweet that only read "#DWTS" on her Twitter, prompting fans to think that she will be one of the celebs hitting the ballroom this year. After all, her schedule gives her enough freedom to do some grooving.

While she stars in "Orange Is the New Black" as the ever sinister Pennsatucky, filming for the show is typically done by summer to fall. She does not have films lined up for her this spring as well, leaving her open for competing in "Dancing with the Stars" season 22.

There are also rumors that "The Bachelor" season 20 leading man Ben Higgins will join the show. Last's season bachelor Chris Soules was a competitor. "Chasing Life" alum Italia Ricci and New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings are also speculated to be in the list.

"Dancing with the Stars" season 22 premieres March 16 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
