The Chicago Bears and the St Louis Rams will clash on Sunday in Week 10 of the NFL 2015 regular season. The Rams will be hoping home field advantage can help them claim their fifth win of the season to date and move into the winning record territory. But they face a Bears team desperate for the win too, and this should be an interesting match up. Jeremy Langford made his first career start in Monday's game for the Bears, and rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown. He also added three receptions for 70 yards as the Bears claimed a tight 22-19 win over the San Diego Chargers.
That will have given Chicago some confidence coming into this game, and they will want to build on what they've achieved recently with another win over the Rams today.
Speaking about Langford, coach John Fox said of the fourth-round pick out of Michigan State: "Really it was kind of what we expected, and we expected a lot. He's explosive. He can take short runs into longer runs. I thought he had a great night."
It is likely that Langford will get the start again today after Matt Forte had just limited time in practice this week. A decision will be made closer to start time.
Earlier this week the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets faced off on Thursday Night Football in a massive game between two teams with hopeful ambitions of making the Playoffs this season.
Buffalo look to be righting the ship after a tough time recently, and they came away with a confidence boosting 22-17 win.
The Bills defense was in excellent form, shutting down Ryan's former team for a lot of the game, which gave their offense the opportunity to get them over the line.
Rookie Karlos Williams managed a 26 yard touchdown catch, and Duke Williams returned a fumbled kick off 19 yards for the go-ahead points.
The win helped the 5-4 Bills move up into the Wild Card Playoff picture, and set alarm bells ringing in New York. The Jets fall to 5-4 but worryingly have lost three of their last four games now to undermine a lot of the good work they achieved earlier in the season.
Fans will remember that Ryan was fired by the Jets after his six seasons in New York last January, and the win on his return will have been a sweet one. His Bills' defense managed to stop the Jets inside the Buffalo 10 in the final minutes and that was enough to hold off the late push by the Jets.
