'Bones' season 10 episode 3 spoilers: 'The Purging of the Pundit' to show discovery of radio host's secrets

The crime comedy-drama TV series "Bones" is returning with its third episode this season, and it's packed with twists and turns.  A synopsis released by Fox reveals that FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) and Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan (Emily Deschanel), along with the Jeffersonian Institute team, will move to an exciting new case.  Entitled "The Purging of the Pundit," the episode will feature an exciting discovery of a radio host's deep secrets.

It will feature the "Bones" team probing on the death of a radio host whose corpse is discovered in a storm drain.  As the team moves further into the case, they will discover that the radio host has secrets under his sleeves, which includes some of his projects on the side that will help the team into narrowing down the suspects.  However, the details on the extra-curricular activities were not revealed.

The last episode of "Bones" showed Booth surrounded with illegally bought weapons as he was allegedly planning to avenge Sweets' (John Francis Daley) death.  Brennan shows concern for Booth's mental well-being while the latter is still trying to get his head back in the game.  

While Booth is still trying to get back on his feet, Special Agent James Aubrey (guest star John Boyd) seeks to earn the trust of Booth.  Aubrey has been spending a lot of time with Booth, following him around all season.  

Meanwhile, fans can now expect the show to return to normal as the conspiracy over Sweets' death has finally come to an end, and Booth will eventually bounce back from the incidents that happened to him in the last few episodes.

Brennan and Booth will also welcome a new member to their team, Rodolfo Fuentes (guest star Ignacio Serrichio).  

The latest episode of "Bones" will air at 8 p.m. on Fox on Thursday, Oct. 9.
