Previous reports have claimed that the device will be released on Oct. 8, since the Taiwanese manufacturer will hold an event on the said schedule. Meanwhile, developer Paul O'Brien shared in his Twitter account that the new slab of Nexus tablet will debut on the 24th of October in an event, and the device will be available through a U.K. carrier.

Aside from a larger screen panel, the features are consistent with the Moto X's specifications. It is said that the upcoming Motorola handset also packs a rear-facing camera with a dual LED-based ring flash, and the back plate has a metal border with antenna design.
