One may have the money ready to buy Kanye West/Adidas sneakers, but for most people the struggle is real when getting their hands on a pair of Yeezy Boost 350.
The sneakers, a collaborative project between West and Adidas, is now sold out in the United States. Adidas announced that the Yeezy Boost 350 was available on Friday, but just two hours after, the retail giant posted a follow-up announcement that the shoes were already sold out.
On Tuesday, the shoes were put up for reservations, but 22 minutes later, the reservations were closed. That's how hot the Yeezy Boost 350 was.
The Yeezy Boost 350 was originally released in August of last year but was re-released on Friday. However, it still proves that the sneakers are a hard model to catch. West intends to make the model available to more people, according to GQ, but Finish Line, Foot Locker, and Champs, were the only stores that offered them.
However, getting a pair from these outlets also didn't come easy, because one needed to obtain a raffle ticket or get stuck in a long line to get the shoes. But at this point, everything is already too late.
So, is there a chance for those who missed out on the offer? One can always try visiting any of these Adidas Originals stores, according to USA Today: Atlanta, Aventura (FL), Brooklyn, Canoga Park (CA), Cherry Hill (NJ), Chicago, Costa Mesa (CA), Edison (NJ), Elmhurst (NY), Freehold (NJ), Garden City, Glendale, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Los Cerritos (CA), McLean (VA), Miami Beach, Wooster St. and Fulton Street in NYC, Orlando, Paramus (NJ), or San Francisco.
The sneakers sold like pancakes, but one can always hope and try that some select retail stores will offer them. Otherwise, there's always eBay to turn to, but expect that the shoes will then come at a four-digit price.
