The struggle will be real for Nintendo Switch owners awaiting the release of wrestling game "WWE2K18." The digital format of the game might need players to free up some space, or better yet, use an SD card.

The video game "WWE2K18" promises the biggest roster yet for the game, but it comes with a great price as well since the game will need a lot of free space. It would require 24 gigabytes (GB) of free space in the Nintendo Switch, which means it is probably better to get an additional SD card to download the game.

How long this would take to download would depend on the internet speed, but even so, with the large file, download will surely take a while. Some even described the requirement as "disappointing, to say the least" and added that the download would only commence over wireless internet connection.

"WWE2K18," developed by Visual Concepts and Yuke's, boasts of a newer gaming experience with its new animation giving off a more realistic match. In the game, players will get to "[e]xplore WWE like never before through free-roaming backstage, conversing with WWE Superstars, forming alliances, making enemies, seeking out quests, and strategizing for upcoming matches," according to Nintendo. The specific release date of the game is still undisclosed, but fans are expecting to catch the game before the year ends.

The trend for third-party games has been to go big, literally. Most games not produced by Nintendo tend to be larger.
Rockstar's "LA Noire" will come at 29 GB, which would not be feasible for the console without additional space, as the 32 GB limit of Nintendo Switch has allotted 6 GB already for the system. "Resident Evil Revelations 2's" digital version will be at 26 GB.

Although Nintendo games have usually been released in manageable sizes, this time, developers also found it hard to condense the game for Switch for unknown reasons.
