New rumors on the pro wrestling front suggest that the Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins series will provide fans with a set of new matches that is expected to lead up to SummerSlam. Wrestling Observer (via Forbes) also provides rumors on the SummerSlam card, which lists down matches for Roman Reigns and John Cena.

According to The Observer, WWE is making sure to go after as much talent as possible due to the Smackdown and Raw brand split. They are aiming to shore up as much new talent as they can in NXT for their next tour. The split will essentially give the two shows different distinct story lines, with SmackDown airing Tuesdays live starting on June 19. They will have heavy names included in the roster, with Roman Reigns rumored to be the new face of SmackDown. However, wherever he goes, he is said to bring along his long-time on-screen feud with Seth Rollins into the mix.

Last Sunday, A.J. Styles had participated in the WWE Extreme Rules Event. He challenged Roman Reigns for the Heavyweight title, and it looks like the gamble paid off- he had 16,000 fans chanting his name while he was in the ring, reports Rolling Stone. It was reportedly one of the greatest matches of the year, and is a great debut for someone like Styles. According to him, Roman deserves a lot of credit for being such an admirable athlete. Roman is "unbelievable", and "deserves more of a chance".

WWE is aiming to make both SmackDown and Raw equally gain higher ratings and views from fans. This means that they will equally divide their stars into different line-ups, with people chiming in to two shows in different days of the week. The new WWE seasons will start airing live this June 2016.
