In the next episode of "Van Helsing," Axel Miller (Jonathan Scarfe) struggles to suppress his hunger for blood.
A sneak peek into the upcoming installment titled "A Home" was just released and showed Miller and Doc (Rukiya Bernard) travelling through the forest in search of Vanessa Helsing (Kelly Overton). Miller turned into a vampire last season when Doc abandoned him at the hospital with a horde of the undead. Now, Miller wants to look for Vanessa so that she can turn him back into a human with her bite. However, it will not be without any struggle as Miller has to suppress his hunger urges. He tells Doc to tie him around a tree with a rope so that he will not get wild. "Are you sure?" Doc asks him. The unpredictable vampire replies, "I've killed a few times. Get the bag!"
Doc anxiously gets the rope from the bag and wraps him around a tree with it. She nails the rope just to be sure. Miller becomes rabid and screams like a wild dog as Doc scurries away in fear. It may only be a matter of time before he does anything regrettable to his companion. It remains to be seen if Miller will be able to cool down his urges and continue with the search for Vanessa.
In the last episode, Vanessa's daughter Dylan (Hannah Cheramy) was very closing to dying until she took a risk and bit the kid's neck so that the she could become human again. Dylan turned back to normal which thrilled Vanessa to no end. However, after a few hours, her daughter started to burn in the sunlight and blew up in flames in Vanessa's arms. All that remained were her ashes as Vanessa screamed in sorrow and despair.
"Van Helsing" season 2 episode 4 will hit the airwaves on Thursday, Oct. 26 at 9 p.m. EDT on Syfy.
