The promised update for action role-playing video game "The Witcher 3" has finally been released by its developer, CD Projekt Red. It has gotten an upgrade patch, 1.51 that supports PS4 Pro.
The new updates are of great promise when it comes to performance and resolution of the game. According to the title's website, "The Witcher 3" now supports features like 4K resolution. So, gamers can now enjoy the visual treat. Aside from the clear and vivid resolution, players can expect an improvement in the performance. According to a statement released by the developer to news outlet Wccftech, this patch will enable the game"to take advantage of the additional power offered by the PS4 Pro."
One verdict is that the 1.51 update has proven itself at this early stage."We can confirm that full super-sampling is in effect for PlayStation 4 Pro users with 1080p displays," explained the Digital Foundry.
This update came a month late if the announcement by CD Projekt Red President Adam Kicinski during their financial results conference webcast is taken into consideration. During the time, the official revealed that the update for the PlayStation 4 Pro will be out "in a few days." The developers had also promised for an update for Xbox One X by the end of the year. No other information has been shared on the patch for Xbox One X. There have been speculations on the release of "The Witcher 4," which might be concluded because the developer divulged that the game has been "selling phenomenally well."
"The Witcher 3's" predecessors are "The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings" and "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt." The game is based on a book series, "The Witcher," written by Polish fantasy writer Andrzej Sapkowski. The game stars Geralt, one of the Witchers. Basically, Witchers are people with superpowers who hunt monsters during the make-believe medieval times.
