Now that the Tara (Alanna Masterson) episode is over, what's next in "The Walking Dead"? Titled "Sing Me a Song," season 7 episode 7 is going to give viewers a closer look at the Saviors and their home base, the Sanctuary.

Fans who have been following Robert Kirkman's comic book series are going to perk up a bit when they see the title of this episode. The title alludes to an iconic scene in the comic books where Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) asks Carl (Chandler Riggs) to sing him a song after he gives Carl a tour around the Sanctuary. And Negan would practice swinging Lucille while Carl sings "You Are My Sunshine."

Fans have been speculating that the upcoming episode may feature the scene lifted straight from the comics. As seen in the trailer, Jesus (Tom Payne) manages to jump out of the Saviors' truck, but Carl is nowhere to be seen. Is he still in the truck? Is Negan going to harm Carl and cement his place as the cruelest villain in "The Walking Dead"? There are already rumors saying Carl may be killed off since Riggs is going to university next year.

In the trailer, Negan is also heard saying, "We survive, we provide security, we bring civilization back to this world. Rules are what make it all work. There is always a cost." In the comics, he gave a speech like this before sticking a hot iron on the face of someone who displeased him.

Meanwhile, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Aaron (Ross Marquand) are still out on a supply run, oblivious to what is taking place in the Sanctuary. Michonne (Danai Gurira) has also left Alexandria on her own. But where is she traveling to? It looks like she's just wandering aimlessly.

"The Walking Dead" season 7 episode 7 will air on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
