'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1' trailer released, Katniss emotional seeing Peeta alive

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1" will be shown in theaters two weeks from now, and Lionsgate has already released the complete trailer for the movie. It looks like "Mockingjay Part 1" is all set.

In the latest clip, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) gets very emotional upon seeing Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) on TV. Peeta is being interviewed by Caesar Flickerman (Stanley Tucci), and it looks like a live broadcast from the Capitol. Katniss is with Gale (Liam Hemsworth) and the rest of District 13 when she sees the broadcast. All Katniss can do is stare at the screen and utter, "You're alive."

It can be recalled that back in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," Katniss and Peeta were in the games when Katniss was able to shoot an arrow toward the sky, which destroyed the game dome. The rebels rescued Katniss immediately as she was to become their Mockingjay, a symbol of hope. As for Peeta, he was left inside the dome.

Since that time, Katniss has had no idea what happened to Peeta, whether he is alive or not, or where he is. Although seeing Peeta alive is good news, there's also bad news. The Capitol is using Peeta as their weapon, just like what Katniss is to the rebels.

Director Francis Lawrence spoke to Entertainment Weekly and said, "Obviously he becomes an objective for her, but Gale is right there, so that's always a tricky situation."

Lawrence was pertaining to Katniss having two men in her life and it's yet another challenge she is facing.

"Mockingjay Part 1" will pick up right where "Catching Fire" left off, which is the war between the rebels and the Capitol.

Lawrence shared, "There's definitely some battles. There's some of the first glimpses of real war in this movie. And the scale gets quite big. There's an atonal shift from some of the last movies, but they're still very emotional, very sweeping, [on a] grand scale with some levity and humor."

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1" hits theaters on Nov. 21. Meanwhile, enjoy the complete trailer and the trailer where Katniss powerfully says, "If we burn, you burn with us."
