"Teen Wolf" season 6 is still a long way off but production has already begun. By the season 5 finale, there was one scene which depicted someone or something crawling out of the machine. Davis confirmed that this character would play a major role in the upcoming sixth season.

"That was the Nazi werewolf!" Davis joked before explaining, "I can absolutely confirm that the soldier has left the machine and will be a part of season 6, a threat. It was something we were planning for a while, and we weren't sure if we were going to use that final shot, but once we started shooting season 6, we figured we might as well use it."

How this soldier creature will play into the main plot has yet to be seen but what can be confirmed is that Stiles and Lydia's relationship will play a major role in season 6. According to Davis, something very important regarding these characters will take place as early as the very first episode of the next season.

In regards to Kira (Arden Cho), Davis likened her sporadic appearance to that of "The Walking Dead," in which some episodes focus entirely on some characters and leave some out. This allows the show to dedicate an entire episode to one character's story. In regards to Kira's fate in season 6, Davis refused to give away any specific spoilers.

Davis did point out that season 6 will mark a big change for the series. The showrunner explained that the characters were graduating from high school and that it was time to focus on a new set of characters. The show is titled "Teen Wolf," after all, and they could not let the show focus entirely on adult characters.
