'Suits' season 5B premiere spoilers: New episodes may bring back Dr. Paula Agard

Suits NBC

The mid-season finale of "Suits" season 5 saw Mike (Patrick J. Adams) getting arrested and Harvey (Gabriel Macht) coming to terms with his therapist, Dr. Paula Agard (Christina Cole). According to a recent interview with executive producer Aaron Korsh, both events are going to alter who will and who won't appear in season 5's remaining six episodes.

In an interview with TV.com, Korsh stated that Mike's arrest will be the main focus for his storyline in the remaining episodes of season 5. This means that the next six episodes of the show will intentionally leave out Hardman (David Costabile) and Soloff (John Pyper-Ferguson) in order to highlight the fallout of Mike's arrest.

Mike's arrest for fraud, as explained in the interview, is a major tipping point for the series and that one big element that the show will focus on for the rest of season 5 is figuring out who exposed Mike's secret.

However, while Mike's arrest will be a major storyline throughout rest of the season, Korsh did admit in an interview with TVLine that they are open to bringing back Dr. Paula Agard. He explained that if she could not be worked back in for the rest of season 5, then she may be brought back for season 6.

"I would like not to be done with Dr. Paula Agard," Korsh stated. "I thought she was a great addition to the cast as a character and as an actress. We are trying to figure that out. It's possible that we may see her in the back six and/or that we may see her in season 6."

Korsh also confirmed that Harvey has made impressive progress with his therapy and that it would have manifested more if Mike hadn't been arrested. Now that Mike is facing charges of fraud, Korsh stated that Harvey will instead go into crisis mode."

"Suits" season 5 will return in 2016.
