The Steam Autumn Sale 2017 Official Steam website

Just as Black Friday 2017 has a wide variety of gadgets, clothes along with various other items on sale, games are no different, especially on Steam. Just in time for the big shopping events, Steam also has their autumn sale this year, along with the Steam Awards nomination periods, where gamers can nominate their favorites for the upcoming Steam Awards.

The autumn sale this year went live a few days ago, and it promises to be big. Hundreds of games are placed on sale and here are some great deals for those who want to get their hands on a new title or an old one.

Perhaps, the biggest deals come with the biggest titles. "Middle Earth: Shadow of War" is on sale for $35.99, 40 percent off of its original price. "Dark Souls 3" is on a 60 percent discount at $23.99, and "Elite: Dangerous" is on sale for 55 percent off or at $13.49.

Of course, there are also full franchises that are on sale during this time. Bethesda Softworks is giving discounts from 50 to 70 percent off on the "Fallout" games, like the "Fallout Classic Collection" which is made up of the first two PC games, with "Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel," "Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate" and this is the 2010 game along with all of its downloadable content, and "Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition." All of these games are on sale for $9.99.

There is also the "Resident Evil" game franchise which has discounts for up to 85 percent off. The "Sniper Elite" franchise has discounts up to 80 percent off and discounts for the "DiRT" games are also up to 80 percent off.
