'Sense8' season 2 spoilers: More intimacy and violence await viewers

Sense8 Netflix

The hit science fiction series from Netflix "Sense8" is already halfway through production of its second season. Since its debut one year ago, it has captured the hearts and minds of Netflix viewers with its plot twists and strong messages. Christian Times assumes that it is safe to say there will be much more to expect in the new season, which will be released sometime next year.

Some of the expected developments will be how the Wachowski sisters plan to go through the rest of the series on their own, after Lilly's memorable coming out a few months ago. Lana will also be moving forward as episodic director for season two, with Lilly expected to return sometime in the third or fourth season. However, the series plot should still continue smoothly even with only one Wachowski sister staying this time around.

Capheus has also been re-cast due to the internal disagreeements between Aml Ameen, who played the character, and Lana. They have already confirmed that he will be played by Toby Onwumere.

There will also be a new special episode released later this year to "jumpstart" the new season of Sense8. Latin Times reports that the cast was proud to show off their moves at the 2016 Gay Parade in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This was supposedly done to show off the orgy scene in season 1 when the characters decided to have an intimate physical connection with all the others. Max Riemelt, who plays Bogdanow, tells fans to expect "more sex, more violence, more of everything!" in the new season.

International Business Times reported that the actors were getting close and personal with one another during the gay parade. They were said to be "kissing, cuddling, groping and grinding against each other," most probably encouraged by fans who enjoyed the orgy scene from season 1.

MovieNewsGuide, on the other hand, warns viewers that there will be "immense changes" done with some "behind-the-scenes drama" during the show. It is said that the new season is expected to be released sometime in 2017, with a special Christmas episode later that year out on Netflix.
