The Sacramento Kings will have their own "Curry" for next season as Seth Curry was signed to a two-year deal after making a strong impression during this year's Summer League.
The younger brother of 2015 NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) Stephen Curry played for the New Orleans Pelicans in the Summer League and was the leading scorer of the competition.
In six games played for the Pelicans, Curry averaged 24.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 3.2 steals per outing.
Curry is no stranger to the NBA as he had short stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Memphis Grizzlies, and the Phoenix Suns playing a total of four games.
The 24-year-old player spent most of his professional career in the NBA D-League with the Santa Cruz Warriors and the Erie BayHawks.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, Curry's two-year pact with the Kings is worth $2 million with a player option following the second year, which means he is sure to stay with the team for the next two seasons.
Like his older brother, Curry also has a touch from the outside and showed that in his Summer League stint, according to Wojnarowski that drew the interest of a number of NBA teams.
Along with Curry, the Kings also signed another Summer League standout who played for them in former Wisconsin Badgers forward Duje Dukan.
Dukan played five games for the Kings in the Summer League and averaged 9.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. No information regarding his deal was disclosed due to team policy.
Another recent addition for Sacramento is returning guard Quincy Acy who spent last season with the New York Knicks where he played 68 games averaging 5.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.0 assist per game.
Acy's deal with the Kings is reportedly a two-year contract, which includes a player option in the second season.
Curry, Dukan, and Acy will join guards Rajon Rondo and Marco Belinelli with center Kosta Koufus as the notable additions for the Kings this offseason.
