'RHONJ' star Teresa Giudice slams Sofia Vergara, says 'immigrant' Vergara should act nice

A "Real Housewives of New Jersey" (RHONJ) star had stirred controversy anew with statements she made against the wife of "Magic Mike XXL" actor Joe Manganiello. Teresa Giudice slammed Sofia Vergara at an event which was attended by fellow "RHONJ" stars.

Giudice, in the Gettin' Real With the Housewives event in Mohegan Sun, Connecticut, lashed out at "Modern Family" actress Vergara, even calling her a bitch in one point. The reality tv star said to an audience of 400 that Vergara was her worst celebrity encounter. TMZ published the video of Giudice airing her rant. The heat stemmed from an alleged photo-op incident wherein the "RHONJ" claimed that Vergara stole the spotlight from her.

According to the reality star, a Bravo official said that she had to take a photo with Vergara, but when the moment came, the latter allegedly posed in front of her. Guidice exclaimed that she got mad but did not talk to Vergara. She added that she "cannot stand her." Guidice's makeup artist also allegedly heard Vergara asking the publicist why she needed to have a photo with the "RHONJ" star.

Giudice then went on to say that Vergara had a thicker accent than her and added, "You would think that she would be nice — she's an immigrant!" The event was graced as well by "RHONJ" stars Dolores Catania, Siggy Flicker, and Danielle Staub.

The remarks did not sit well with fans, who took to the comment section of a photo during the event posted on Giudice's Instagram account to vent their anger and disgust over the insensitive statement. User @xnyrkers noted that Giudice and her husband were immigrants as well and added that the 45-year-old celebrity should think about her daughter before making such decisions. Others called her ignorant and added that she crossed the line, while others stressed that they were not a fan of hers anymore after this major fiasco.
