Queen Mary (Adelaide Kane) will meet her husband's killer face to face when she returns to her own country in the penultimate episode of "Reign" season 3.

According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, the man responsible for the death of King Francis (Toby Regbo) will be finally revealed. The character will be portrayed by "Arrow" star John Barrowman.

The actor will be introduced as the character named Munro, the charming but dangerous leader of the Scottish clan who is known to abhor Mary, the Queen of Scots. He managed to kill Francis in a swordfight when the king of France was out protecting his wife.

What will Mary do once she encounters her husband's murderer?

But based on historical claims posted on BBC, Mary's return to Scotland will be marred with a lot of controversies because she is a known Catholic who is set to rule a purely Protestant country. This will make her homecoming a lot more challenging than what she expected.

Meanwhile, fans of the period drama would also like to know the culprit behind Queen Elizabeth's (Rachel Skarsten) miscarriage.

In the previous episode, Elizabeth's pregnancy with Robert Dudley's (Charlie Carrick) child did not push through after an unidentified hand dropped poison in her tea.

Does Lola (Anna Popplewell) have something to do with the poisoning? She got infuriated after finding out that the British monarch has no intention of releasing her family. This means that there are more people who would like to hurt the cunning royalty by killing her child.

At the moment, there is no announcement yet regarding the date of airing for the upcoming episode of "Reign" season 3.
