Luffy and the rest of his Straw Hat crew are in a very tight situation as most of them are being held captive inside Big Mom's island. However, some of the Straw Hat Pirates that are not yet captured as well as a handful of their newfound allies could become the key figures in the upcoming chapter of "One Piece" that would set Luffy, Nami, and the rest of the gang free from their current states.

It is believed that chapter 848 will feature Brook and the humanlike feline Pedro and both will be the heroes of the upcoming installment as they will attempt to free Luffy and Nami.

It can be recalled that in chapter 847, Pedro barged into the castle and was about to face Baron Tamago. Meanwhile, Brook was at the doorstep of Big Mom's fortress preparing for an impending scuffle. Rumor has it is that the Straw Hat musician will be launching a one-man counterattack against a substantial number of Big Mom's horde before unshackling Luffy and Nami.

Chopper and Carrot, on the other hand, are presumed to be breaking free from their respective bondages as the former is believed to be using one of his transformations to tackle Brûlée and the rest of her men.

Meanwhile, fans might recall that the Vinsmokes were at Big Mom's library as the latter boasted her collection of rare creatures being preserved and kept in the pages of her books. Talk between the two parties was cut short as one of Big Mom's men reported the capture of Luffy and Nami.

The behemoth pirate then communicated with Luffy and Nami, taunting the captives about Sanji's looming wedding. Luffy furiously responded that it will not come to fruition and went on to say that he'll be beating his captor once he breaks loose. Nami also butted in saying that one of Big Mom's daughters, Lola, is a friend of hers. The pirate just downplayed such revelation as she revealed how she was betrayed by her offspring. To Nami's surprise, Big Mom even said that it's better for her daughter to be dead anyway.
