The members of the Washington, D.C.-based NCIS team will find themselves in the middle of their own personal dramas in the next episode of "NCIS" season 13.

According to the official synopsis for the episode titled "Spinning Wheel," Ducky Mallard (David McCallum) will look back on the moments that he shared with his late brother decades after his death.

The full official synopsis reads:

"After Ducky is attacked by a man claiming to have information about his half-brother who died decades ago, the NCIS team searches for the perpetrator, as Ducky recalls the final emotional days he had with his sibling. Also, with the holidays approaching, Bishop (Emily Wickersham) and Jake (Jamie Bamber) discuss the future of their relationship."

Will Ducky discover how the man is related to his brother in the upcoming episode?

Wickersham talked about what fans should expect to see when the season resumes next Tuesday.

"At this point, we don't know if they're going to continue or not," the actress shared with Entertainment Weekly. "I feel like deep down inside, she has made a decision at the end of this episode, and I don't think they'll continue. I don't think it's just the affair that's the kicker here."

The actress also teased that all the other characters will help Bishop deal with the infidelity and divorce. According to the actress, Abby (Pauly Parrette) and the rest of the boys from the team will help her get back on track. "You get the full sense of the family thing about NCIS. Although this team works well together and they're professional and they do their jobs day to day, they also are really there for each other as family and as friends," Wickersham revealed.

"NCIS" season 13 will return on Tuesday, Dec. 15, on CBS.
