"NCIS New Orleans" season 4 has started airing since Sept. 26 on CBS.

Special agent Dwayne Pride, played by Scott Bakula, has returned for the fourth season with FBI special agent Tammy Gregorio (Vanessa Ferlito), Sonja Percy (Shalita Grant), and NCIS Special Agent Christopher Lasalle (Lucas Black).

Agent Pride will be working with FBI Director Isler (Derek Webster) in one episode to look for a missing Russian operative who carries important intel. In another episode, Agent Gregorio will be working with Eva Azarova (Cassidy Freeman), a former sleeper agent.

Other stars set to make an appearance in the new season is Aaron Dominguez, Tawny Cypress, Jamie Bernadette, and Pavel Kalachev.

Compared to previous seasons, "NCIS New Orleans" season 4 will be different from its predecessors because the new show's plot will focus more on the team's backstory. Fans will also see how Lasalle and Percy will try to find ways to make their relationship work.

Season 4 will have a premiere episode titled "Rogue Nation" where Agent Pride is on Administrative leave and Paula Boyd (Becky Ann Baker) will be pitching in temporarily. Pride's team will also be investigating a vehicular homicide. Written by Brad Kern, the team will eventually reveal that the suspect was attempting to make a dirty bomb which would explain the involvement of stolen nuclear waste.

Episode 2 titled "#1 Fan" will be directed Hart Bochner and will be written by Zach Strauss. Pride will be kidnapped in the episode by a mysterious woman played by Dendrie Taylor. She wanted Pride and his team to take her seriously, which ended in kidnapping the top agent. The team helped her track the serial killer that targeted women from the Gulf of Mexico.

The new season of "NCIS New Orleans" airs on CBS every Tuesday at 10 p.m. EDT.
