'Mass Effect: Andromeda' news: Weather effects to be featured

 Bioware

Bioware has always been fond of keeping fans updated on where it is on the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" development. Just recently, Mass Effect Senior Development Director Chris Wynn tweeted that a new milestone has been reached but did not give out specific details.

In another tweet, Wynn mentioned something about weather effects for the game and how the tech art team "blew [him] away" with the demo of the said feature, resorting to describing the experience "ridiculously cool," which is definitely something to make fans more excited about the game.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, the dynamic weather effects for the game may bring to mind that of "Star Wars," where each planet features rich weather varieties, thus a varying atmosphere. It remains to be seen if the folks at Bioware will show similar effects in the upcoming title.

When the trailer for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" was first shown, fans posted videos of insane and sometimes hilarious reactions to the reveal trailer to express in the most accurate way their excitement for the game. Bioware, in turn, released a video of select developers reacting to these fan reactions.

Indeed, the new intergalactic role-playing shooter is one of the most awaited and most talked about games announced at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo. The team is as happy with the gracious reception for the installment.

Before it was made official, "Mass Effect: Andromeda," then dubbed as "Mass Effect 4," was a regular in the rumor mills and was often leaked and speculated as to what it has in store for followers of the franchise.

With a specific release date still unannounced, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is expected to be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC during the holidays next year.
