'Mary Mary' season 4 premiere: Erica and Tina Campbell continue musical career

Season 4 of "Mary Mary" will start airing today, March 5. The series easily became WE TV's most popular reality series so a new season was more of an expected feat than a bombshell. Its viewership had nowhere to go but up and the show averaged 1.1 million total viewers, the highest of which was generated from the show's third season.

"Mary Mary" will continue to follow Erica and Tina Campbell's crazy life as they continue to advance their blossoming musical career in the midst of the devastating revelations brought to light in the third season.

Tina now lives with the disastrous culmination of her marriage with her infidel husband Teddy. However, things seem to be looking up for them. Season 4 will show how the pair works to rise above the heartbreak and put behind its still-raw repercussions as they take a second chance at love.

Erica, on the other hand, continues to work her way to stardom as a solo artist. Her career continues to boost up and her hard work reciprocated her with a Grammy award (she snagged one for Best Gospel Album with "Help" in 2015). However, Campbell admitted that the journey of "being a solo artist was not an easy one."

Although the half of the musical pair struggles to find that much-needed sense of balance between her musical calling and her personal life, Tina remains adamant of her desire to go solo, too. However, unlike Erica, she will find it much harder to do that. Besides, their record label has something else in store for "Mary Mary" and all that will unfold in season 4.

For now, fans should prepare themselves of what will go down when former Mary Mary manager Mitchell Solarek finds her way to the duo's doorstep to make amends.

"Mary Mary" season 4 will premiere today, March 5.
