Liam Payne gushes over first Christmas with baby Bear

Liam Payne is excited for the holidays to come, especially since it will be the first time he will be celebrating it with his son, Bear.

The former One Direction band member, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, gushed about his plans for this year's Christmas season with his baby with Cheryl Cole. "My holiday plans are to spend some beautiful time with my son and to eat my own weight in lovely Christmas food," the "Strip that Down" singer said.

He went on to narrate and reveal how being a father had changed him. "It's the first thing you think about in the morning and the last thing you think about at night," Payne shared.

The 24-year-old singer welcomed Bear earlier this year on March 22. Ever since then, he has been vocal and showy of his love for their bundle of joy. On June 28, Payne posted a photo on Instagram of his and Bear's feet, both wearing matching Yeezy shoes. He also uploaded a picture of his hand being held by Bear on his birthday.

Payne's first baby was named after Bear Grylls, an adventurer known for his series "Man vs. Wild." The singer also took to Instagram to welcome his son, posting a photo of him holding the baby and describing the moment in the caption as his "favorite memory so far."

Cole and Payne had been dating since 2016 and even though they were blessed with a baby boy, the "Bedroom Floor" singer said that marriage was not yet in their plans. He further explained that he regarded the ceremony as "religious," and that he was not one.

Cole and Payne met on "The X Factor" in 2008. Two years later, Payne was recognized as a One Direction member. The romance rumors started in December 2015, when the two were seen hugging during a break, and months later, the two had been dropping hints by commenting on each other's photos.
