Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West were forced to take an emergency landing from their helicopter trip this past Monday, April 18. They were joined by family friend Jonathan Cheban and Kim's sister, Kourtney Kardashian, who was celebrating her birthday the day they took their trip.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, the sisters shared the moments of their helicopter's emergency landing via Snapchat. In the video clips shared, Kim can be seen telling her sister that they are indeed taking an emergency landing over a golf course.

Kourtney is then seen in a separate post mouthing the words "stay calm" right before they make their landing. Fortunately, no one in the ride was harmed. The sisters continued sharing the video clip which ends with the pilot walking back into the helicopter and closing the doors, assessing that they could continue their trip.

Kourtney later explained what the cause of the landing was, stating, "We found the problem! A seat belt was hanging out that was making a rattling noise.Emergency landing but w'ere ok."

Fans speculate that the rattling noise caused concern for the pilot as it may have been a sign of a leak or a physical dent or broken part that may need immediate attention. Fortunately, the issue was merely a loose seat belt and the trip was completed, allowing the Kardashians to continue celebrating Kourtney's birthday.

Photos of their Icelandic trip were shared via social media sites such as Instagram, as Kim and her sister took several group photos and snapshots of the landscape, culminating in an evening party where Kourtney was allowed some time to indulge in a birthday cake.

Kourtney's children and husband were not seen present. Kim and her husband Kanye were present in all of the photos, standing in as Kourtney's closest relatives for the birthday party.
