Jennifer Lawrence is not engaged to boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, rep confirms

Rumors that Jennifer Lawrence is engaged to Nicholas Hoult have been swirling since OK! Magazine published a cover story announcing the news.

The magazine cover states that Hoult proposed to the actress in front of her family with a $250,000 ring and that the Hunger Games actress wants four kids.

A source told OK! Magazine: "Jennifer's walking on air. She's madly in love with Nicholas and is the happiest she's ever been. Jen likes to live a relatively modest private life. She knows news of the engagement will make that harder if not impossible. And she is obsessed with her privacy."

The 23-year-old actress, who is up for another Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress reportedly invited Hoult over to her family home in Lexington, Kentucky over the holidays. The source claimed to the magazine that the "About A Boy" actor proposed to her on Christmas eve after giving a speech to her in front of her family.

The pair was seated together at the Golden Globe awards earlier this month and all eyes watched as the pair kissed before she got up to receive her Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture award.

However, despite the tabloid's cover story, Jennifer's representatives have confirmed to multiple news outlets that the story is completely fabricated and that the engagement is not true.

The pair met in 2011 on the set of the first X-Men: First Class prequel and embarked on a romantic relationship almost immediately. After a break, the pair rekindled their romance last year.

Lawrence won an Academy Award for Best Actress last year for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook."

Hoult is best known for his roles in 2002 hit film "About a Boy," where he starred alongside Hugh Grant as 12-year-old boy Marcus.
