Huawei P10 release date, specs: photos, features of device leaked online

Earlier this year, China-based phone maker Huawei rolled out one of their top brass handsets known as the P9. With the phone's popularity in the midrange market, it seems that the company will be devising yet another iteration for the lineup to be obviously dubbed as the P10.

A leaked photo of the supposed device has been making rounds online as of late, though it only shows a portion of the back panel. As per the leaked image, the phone still has hints of its predecessor, but its fingerprint scanner may have been tweaked alongside the camera flash. Both are now round. Apart from these, other attributes of the yet-to-be-announced phone may well seem to remain faithful to the P9.

Details about the smartphone's specs are still sparse as of the moment. However, if reports are to be believed, it was noted that it will carry at least 6 GB of random access memory (RAM) alongside a HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor. Moreover, it is rumored to sport a 5.5-inch QHD multi-touch display with a 12-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. It's also likely to be preinstalled with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with Huawei's Emotion user interface on top.

Meanwhile, other leaked images of the alleged phone prior to the one that recently came out hinted that a fingerprint sensor will be lodged onto the phone's anterior portion. However, it is very unlikely considering that the phone does not carry the Huawei branding, not to mention that the recent leak is more tenable.

The aforementioned attributes are still unconfirmed so anticipating fans should be taking these with a pinch of salt. Furthermore, the company has yet to indicate if such device is indeed in the works.
