'GTA V' for PC update: trailer shows off breathtaking visuals at 60 fps

If Rockstar is taking a long while to release the PC version of its legendary crime-laden open-world title "GTA V" because it needs time to fine-tune its visuals, then all is forgiven with the recently released trailer for the game.

The game studio showed off what Los Santos looks like in 1080p at 60 frames per second, and without a doubt, it is nothing short of breathtaking. PC gamers may have been waiting for a long time but the extra time Rockstar asked for allowed it to buff up the game into what could be the best "GTA" title yet.

Based on the trailer, driving through the crime-run conurbation in "GTA V" is buttery smooth and it seems realistic being in the driver's seat, rambling around as a baddie. Ultimately, Los Santos has never looked this stellar. As for gameplay, gamers can expect more responsive gun blasts for fast-paced action and excitement.

Xbox One and PS4 may have gotten it earlier than PC gamers, but the fact that the version for this system is graphically powerful enough to run in 60 fps (which is double that of the current-gen consoles) and in native 4K resolutions, the delays can simply be buried and forgotten.

Indeed "GTA V" looks very promising and judging from the trailer alone, the title has all the potentials of becoming the topnotch video game of all the games described in superlative. Den of Geek went so far as to declare that "GTA V" is, without a doubt, the optimum.

To further prove its visual prowess, Rockstar did not miss a showing on TV with a new trailer that demonstrates how good "Heists" looks on the PC version. "GTA V" for PC and the "Heists" DLC seem to make a pretty good combination.

With everyone pumped up to see the game in the flesh, "GTA V" is not that far off. It  will hit shelves on April 14, so those computers better be ready to handle this heavyweight.
