'GTA Online' Halloween DLC wishlist released online

Grand Theft Auto V Rockstar

"Grand Theft Auto Online" recently saw the release of the "Freemode DLC," which allowed players to experience seamless events and challenges. But that hasn't stopped gamers and fans of the franchise from hoping for a proper Halloween DLC this year.

As reported by the IBTimes, "Grand Theft Auto V" and its online counterpart have never received a proper Halloween DLC after they were released. Rockstar instead offered a Halloween event over the weekend that gave double the in-game cash and Reputation Points. Still, there was no DLC that permanently added new content to the game.

One of the most popular wishlists that have surfaced online comes from YouTube user MrBossFTW, who has posted a video to further emphasize what Rockstar needs to include if they do indeed come out with a Halloween DLC.

The wishlist includes the option to wear masks, although this is not limited to just scary masks. The wishlist also suggests that Rockstar's DL also include superhero masks inspired by Marvel and DC characters. Also included in the wishlist is the option for tribal tattoos and Halloween-themed costumes or clothing.

Halloween-themed vehicles and weapons are also included in the wishlist, particularly a scythe and a Romero Hearse, the latter being inspired by George Romero's "Of the Dead" zombie films.

Rockstar did mention that they are working on new content to add new vehicles, weapons, and clothes to the game.

"We're definitely working on more vehicles among other things for you to collect for future updates - please make sure to stay tuned here at the Newswire for more info about that soon," confirmed the developer on the Newswire page of Rockstar Games.

However, the game developer has not yet announced any upcoming DLC following the Freemode Events DLC that was recently launched for "GTA Online." It is likely that if there is one coming up soon, it will be unveiled as Halloween draws nearer.
