The "Frozen" fever is still alive as fans eagerly await the release of the sequel of the phenomenal Disney animated film.
The plot for "Frozen 2" remains a mystery, but several theories are already coming from different sources.
According to one of the theories from CrossMap, Anna will soon discover that she also has a special power just like her sister, Queen Elsa. But unlike Elsa who can freeze everything that she touches, Anna's superpowers involve fire. This could possibly cause another conflict between the Arendelle sisters, since the two elements cannot exist together.
Another theory claimed that both Elsa and their frozen friend Olaf will have their own love interests in the sequel. According to the theory, Prince Hans will return to Arendelle in "Frozen 2," and he will fall in love with the queen. But could Elsa trust Hans after what he did to her sister in the first film?
Meanwhile, Olaf is also reportedly meeting the love of his life in the upcoming sequel. However, there is no word yet regarding the identity of Olaf's upcoming love interest. This means that she could either be a snow girl or a real human girl.
Disney first announced the news regarding the development of the "Frozen" sequel in March 2015. But in August 2015, the film's director Chris Buck admitted to MTV News that they were still in the early stages of development for the movie.
"Jen [Lee] and I are just getting back into the story room together and throwing ideas around. We have an overall idea, a concept, which I think is a very strong one. I'm very excited about doing it," Buck said.
The director also shared their process of finding the right plot for the upcoming sequel.
"We have two very strong female leads in 'Frozen,'" Buck explained. "We will keep that going in the next one. We will tackle other issues that, I think, are out there today that boys and girls, men and women, are dealing with.
