"The Flash" is quickly adapting its own tone and style since its birth from its parent show, The CW's "Arrow." It has already introduced a slew of supernatural elements such as the Reverse-Flash, but episode 15 is set to add something fans have long been asking for: time travel.

The previous episode broke out a lot of secrets such as the identity of the Reverse-Flash and the fact that Flash was present during his mother's death, implying that the speedster traveled through time. Images shown to him in that episode titled "Fallout" suggest he travelled to the past attempting to save his mother.

In the next episode titled "Out of Time," time travel won't be the only new issue the Scarlet Speedster will face. According to the official synopsis of the episode, Mark Mardon a.k.a. Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre) will be making his debut appearance as he fights Joe and Flash to avenge his brother, Clyde.

This episode also plays a big part in what executive producer Andrew Kreisberg hinted at during his interview with TVLine.

Kreisberg stated, "There's an unexpected, accidental time travel coming up. And it is played both for hilarity and darkness. It happens in an episode we're really excited about — the first Weather Wizard episode with Liam McIntyre."

Kreisberg also told Entertainment Weekly that this episode could be compared to the 1993 film "Groundhog Day". Flash would be travelling through the past and future as he attempts to right the wrongs done to his family.

EW also quotes actor Grant Gustin as saying, "He realizes, 'Holy sh*t, this an opportunity to change things with my family's past. He doesn't know yet to maybe not do that, but that's where Barry's at when he realizes what he's just learned that he can do, that he can maybe save his mom."

"Out of Time" will air on March 17. It is directed by Thor Freudenthal and penned by Todd Helbing and Aaron Helbing.
