The ensemble for "Empire" season 2 continues to swell with "Men at Work" star Adam Busch tapped to play the recurring role of gay photographer Chase One.

According to Deadline, the character is "a sexy, gifted, avant-garde" artist who becomes enamored of his male star while doing his photoshoot. However, there was no information or hint provided as to who this mystery "male star" is that Busch's character will become infatuated with.

Deadline also confirms that Busch will take part in USA Network's new drama "Colony." There, he will take on the role of a science teacher who isn't very pleased with the new "alien-approved" curriculum.

In "Empire," the actor joins the ranks of Marisa Tomei as lesbian capitalist Mimi Whiteman and Andre Royo as Lucious' lawyer.

To make for an even more astral cast, "Shower" singer Becky G is also stopping by "Empire" season 2. Her stint in the series was announced by FOX via the show's Twitter. The former YouTube star told Hollywood Life that she will play "somebody that [she's] not."

Becky G described the role as "very fierce" and at one point, she even called the character a "mean girl." She then went on to explain how challenging it was for her to summon such personality that isn't innate in her and reiterated how her character in the show isn't like her at all.

One other cast-related change to look out for upon the show's return is the promotion of Gabourey Sidibe and Ta'Rhonda Jones as series regulars in season 2. Fans know them as Lucious' and Cookie's respective runners, Becky and Porsha.

Moreover, Chris Rock, Alicia Keys, Adam Rodriguez, Kelly Rowland and Lenny Kravitz are also among the flurry of celebrities who are all set to appear in the new season of the hit musical drama.

"Empire" season 2 premieres Sept. 23.
