"The Taken King," the upcoming DLC for "Destiny," costs $40, which is double the price of the previous add-ons for the game. Bungie says that the price is justified since it has "well more than twice as much content as the Dark Below."

Bungie's community manager Eric Osborne told IGN that the new expansion pack has a lot to offer. There are seven Crucible multiplayer maps this time, which is twice what "The Dark Below" and "House of Wolves" had. There are also three new Strikes to enjoy, which he described as "the best Strikes we've delivered to date."

"You've got a full campaign, [and] I think people are going to enjoy the cinematics, the characters, the missions. We're taking you to the Dreadnaught, to Phobos, up into colony ships. Nathan Fillion [Firefly, Halo 3: ODST] is talking to you, Lance Reddick [The Wire] is talking to you. It's good stuff," he explained.

Talking more about Dreadnaught, Osborne said that the new "Destiny" DLC is not going to make players feel that it's "just a big new destination to explore" because the location is "really deep and layered, there's tons of little secrets and things you can collect [and] riddles and clues and stories and quests and quest logs and more guns and more gear and exotics."

There's also the King's Fall Raid, which is touted as the biggest one "Destiny" players will experience. Osborne said there are a lot more content in the expansion pack although Bungie has yet to talk about those. He, however, assured gamers that more exotic gear are coming. He did not say how many there are for each class but he did say that "Destiny" is going to get a lot compared to what it featured when it was first released.

"The Taken King" DLC for "Destiny" will be released on Sept. 15.
