'Daredevil' season 3 spoilers news: Will Daredevil die in season 3?; Elektra to appear in 'The Defenders'

It may still be a while before Netflix's hit series "Daredevil" returns to the streaming site but Charlie Cox — who plays the blind defender of Hell's Kitchen — believes its never too early to drop some hints to pique the fans' interest.

The third season of "Daredevil" is not set to release until 2018, but Cox has been very generous to curious fans about what they can expect when the show finally returns.

In an interview at the Wizard's World event in Pittsburgh, the star teased eager fans when he implied that no character is exempt from being killed off in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now, shocked viewers are starting to think that he may be referring to his own character on the Netflix show.

"I know that as a show, they don't try to take storylines that are already written. We want to be our own thing. One of the reasons they killed Ben Urich, which was such a great shock for me, but the reason I think they do it because the people who love the show are great fans and have read the comics and we need them to know this is not a safe place and the drama is going to affect you as well. You don't know what's going to happen. If we kill Ben Ulrich, what does that mean? We could do anything potentially," he explained.

Meanwhile,it has been confirmed that Cox's wish to have Bullseye as the main villain for the third season may finally bear fruit as the buzz is loud that Daredevil's arch nemesis will be the series' next big bad, reported Yibada.

Elodie Yung — who played Elektra in the second season of Daredevil — has reportedly been cast in the new Netflix series "The Defenders," which will also feature Cox as Daredevil, Luke Cage (Mike Colter), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones).
