The pending release of "Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy" became a hot topic when a Twitter user uploaded a photo on Best Buy in Canada which listed the game as an exclusive for PlayStation 4 (PS4) for one year. Rumors have surfaced previously that "Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy" is expected to become available to other consoles since its launch with Activision, which purchased the game's rights from Sony. Activision is known not to practice console exclusives.

It can be noted that Sony does own the publishing rights for the first three games. However, "Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy" is not a remastered version as it does not contain any codes from the previous original games.

The said Twitter photo created speculations that maybe Sony struck a deal with Activision in which the latter could base the "Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy" on the old games and Sony would obtain an exclusivity deal as a result. As of now, Sony and Activision have yet to comment on the picture. Also, the alleged photo may have been edited and faked.

Moreover, Activision released the newest trailer for "Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy" which features the Rock It level. Previously, Activision also released a video showing a comparison of the graphics between the PS4 and original version, as shown by PlayStation Universe.

As noted by its fans, the "Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy" obtained the habit of releasing small gameplay clip across the web. This time, the developers decided to release "Un-bearable Transformation" video. The said video provided a glimpse at the newly upgraded Polar character.

Debuting in "Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back" as a rideable mount, Polar also made a brief appearance in "Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped" in an in-game. Afterward, Polar became a playable character in "Crash Team Racing."

"Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy" will be released on PS4 on June 30.
