The stage is set for the Copa America semi-finals as the four remaining national squads will collide with the host nation Chile taking on Peru Monday at the Estadio Nacional Arena and Argentina facing Paraguay at the Concepcion Wednesday.

Chile is looking for their very first Copa America championship making it to the finals four times but failing to secure a trophy.

The last time they were in the finals was in 1987 but fell short against Uruguay although they avenged that loss last week with a 1-0 win to reach the semi-final round.

Juventus defender Mauricio Isla scored Chile's lone goal in the match in the 81st minute.

Meanwhile, Peru downed Bolivia 3-1 at the Estadio Germán Becker in Temuco, Chile to reach the semi-finals and set a date with the host nation.

Clube de Regatas do Flamengo forward Paolo Guerrero shined in the victory as he scored a hat trick to help his nation advance.

The last time Peru won the Copa America was in 1975 as they defeat Columbia.

The semi-finals showdown Monday between Chile and Peru will be live 7:30 p.m. EST (8:30 p.m. local time) and will be shown on beIN Sports.

In the other semi-finals match Wednesday, Argentina will take on Paraguay who eliminated the heavily favored Brazil in the quarterfinals.

Argentina was held to a scoreless draw by Columbia in the quarterfinals and the game was decided on penalties.

Both squads were successful on their first three spot kicks until Sampdoria striker Luis Muriel missed one.

The Argentine squad is filled with top players including Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Carlos Tevez who recently joined his former club Boca Juniors from Juventus, but were unable to perform to the way they are expected in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Paraguay was able to stun Brazil on penalties with the team missing some of its best players including Neymar .

The semi-finals match between Argentina and Paraguay Wednesday will be live 7:30 p.m. EST (8:30 p.m. local time) and will be shown on beIN Sports.
