Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather news: Fans, analysts predict results; Mayweather calls McGregor an ant

Fight enthusiasts have been musing for quite some time now about a possible matchup between two greats in their respective fields namely Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr.

It's a known fact that both are prize fighters and have been given the biggest fight cards with the heftiest paydays, not to mention the overflowing cockiness of these athletes. Moreover, the two sportsmen have this whim of downplaying their opponents before their respective fights by blurting out insulting tirades toward their adversaries.

However, it's also a foregone conclusion that their fighting styles differ and in the event that a scuffle between the two actualizes, it will not only determine who the better fighter is but also what type of sport is more superior to the other.

Fans and pundits alike are now weighing in as to who between the two will emerging triumphant when that big day comes. West Coast rapper and record producer Warren G was asked who among the two will be victorious if such event would happen. The rapper replied in favor of the boxer stating that Mayweather will have the leverage if the fight will just be exchanging punches. He added that the boxer has the skills to dodge most of the punches being thrown at him.

Meanwhile, both Ultimate Fighting Championship president Dana White and Fox Sports 1 host Skip Bayless agree that Conor McGregor will be the clear winner in the said fight and highlighted that the Irishman is a highly skilled and accurate fighter that can connect punches with pinpoint accuracy.

As of late, Mayweather is still deemed as retired, though this might change as he was quoted saying that it would be an insult for him if he is to be compared with McGregor who he considers an ant.
