Developer Supercell has not issued any official news about the exact release date of its September update for "Clash of Clans." However, fans are speculating that it could arrive by the third week of the month.
Fans reportedly are speculating that the upcoming update will arrive in less than a week's time, and it will bring in some changes that will greatly benefit low-level players, specifically, gamers with Town Hall level 11 or lower. High-level players benefited from the last update, so it is favorable for another set of players this time around. Fans at the Supercell forum are expecting that the update could arrive anytime between the 18th and the 20th day of the month.
Rumors also suggest that a penalty system will be introduced in the update. Although details about this, as well as the ability to mine gems for free, are still unclear. However, since these gems are the game's currency, and can be purchased with real money, Supercell's revenue will greatly be affected by this move. The company might impose a limit on these free gems if there will be one.
The company added that the game has many choices. Even the simplest Village layouts have its own strengths and weaknesses and appeals differently to every player. However, as Supercell points out, the game is all about strategy and changes coming to the game is only aiming to "enrich gameplay depth overall."
The studio also pointed out that techniques used by its players for several levels may not always work as they progress on the next ones. The game's dynamic changes as they move forward. It is also the reason why Supercell keeps on developing new characters or troops, defenses, and spells.
"Clash of Clans" fans are looking forward to receiving the September update very soon.
