'Captain America 3' movie plot spoilers: D23 trailer leaked

Captain America: Civil War Marvel Studios

Over the course of the production of "Captain America: Civil War," photos from the set made the rounds, giving fans clues on what will happen in the standoff between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark. This time, the power of the Internet extends so far as to leak the trailer for the movie shown during the D23 event.

Disney did not waste time taking the trailer down. The video uploaded on YouTube is no longer accessible. Still, the company wasn't fast enough to remove it before fans managed to save a copy, get screen captures and make gifs out of the scenes in the trailer.

The clip showed a lot of exciting things the film is set to offer. For starters, it showed who Iron Man and Captain America have on their teams. In one scene, the latter's posse was seen sprinting in full force toward their enemies.

It also gave fans a glimpse of the Black Panther in full costume looking ready for a battle. Tony Stark was shown donning a costume that's different from what he wore in his own movies and in the "Avengers" films. It looks much bigger and more formidable.

War Machine stood behind Iron Man as they looked on to the direction of their foes. The trailer also showed a throwdown between Hawkeye and Black Widow – the former fighting for Cap's team and the latter upholding Iron Man's intents.

Ant-Man was also in the clip. He wasn't suited up though, but he was seen talking to Captain America, whom he will be siding with. The trailer also gave a good glimpse of Crossbones looking ominous and Scarlet Witch shouting into the void. Hulk's big shadow was nowhere in the trailer; and Tom Holland's Spider-Man didn't show up either.

It seems that Disney won't release the said trailer online as it wants to keep the treat exclusive to the attendees of D23.

"Captain America: Civil War" will be released on May 6, 2016.
